PDM Administrator

SUMMARY: Our team is looking for a diligent and efficient PDM Administrator who will primarily be responsible for aiding Axiom’s Engineering Team with managing and developing effective product file. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about end user experience and excels at problem solving. The role requires strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintaining the SolidWorks PDM architecture and workflows
  • Developing and testing new PDM environments for deployment
  • Coordinating maintenance and upgrades to the SolidWorks and PDM environment
  • CAD license and hardware management
  • Oversee the development and usage of the CAD material libraries
  • Manage the SolidWorks Toolbox
  • Ensure metadata stability across business systems
  • Support engineering teams with producing their deliverables
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • AS Degree in Business, IT or related field preferred.
  • Relative certifications a plus.
  • 5+ years’ experience in document management, business systems and change management required.
  • 5+ years’ experience CAD design required (corporate environment preferred)

Essential Functions

Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.

Requirements 

• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

• Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.

 Physical Requirements

• Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
