Associate Program Manager, Human Spaceflight

What are the limits of innovation and exploration? How do we continue to evolve as a species?

SUMMARY: The Associate Program Manager will report to the company’s Head of Revenue Operations and will be responsible for managing the execution and operations for all human spaceflight contracts, ensuring these agreements are managed from kickoff to completion across all functional areas of the company.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contract and agreement negotiation, arriving at an executed agreement that meets the customer’s objectives, Axiom’s strategic business goals, and is executable during the spaceflight mission

• Build and maintain strong relationships and facilitate communication with internal/external stakeholders to ensure that all astronaut objectives and contract deliverables are met

• Project management and performance reporting

Education & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in program/project management or equivalent professional function

• Experience within the contracting lifecycle: proposals, negotiation, execution, contract closeout. 

• Experience with international government contracts is a plus. 

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, economics, business, or related field

• Highly organized and detail oriented; able to juggle, prioritize, and keep track of multiple tasks and projects

• Ability to multi-task, work independently with minimal supervision, and make and communicate the rationale behind key decisions in a constantly evolving fast-paced work environment
